Week 1: Background
·      Two coaches this week for purposes of having two background stories and for day of test

Day 1: Know who you run with

10 min: check in
5: Program vision (P.1)
20: Share Coach background (P.2-3)
            1. Share: name, age, where you come from, why you’re here, personal strengths and how they have been used, a struggle and how it was overcome. 
10: Break into two groups and share backgrounds with one another (P.4-5)
20: one game
            Hand ball:  Make two teams out of the group.  Players will use their hands to pass the ball from one side of field to the other.
                        Rules:
1.     Player with ball cannot move feet
2.     Players cannot take ball out of hands
3.     If ball drops, other team gets the ball.
4.     Once ball is caught in end zone then team gets one point.
5.     Play for 15 min.

            Illustration:  Importance of knowing each other.
                        Get a volunteer: ask them to turn around and then toss the ball towards them.  The ball is not caught!  Now have couch ask for persons name and then throw the ball after calling their name to catch it.  This time the ball is caught.  Taking the time to know one another will make you more successful at the game.


Day 2: Testing

5 min: Check in
40 min:  Physical and written test
·      20< split group in half and half will do the fitness test while the other half does the written test and then switch.
15 min: play a game
15 min: illustration and next week outline.
